Zonta Chiang Mai Club (ZICC#1586) was chartered in October 25, 1997 and since then has been fully operational. The current 25 members are comprised of academics from Chiang Mai University, Payap University and career women in private industry.

The Charter President of the Chiang Mai Zonta Club, Prof.Somboon Suprasert, a dynamic woman who is very well loved by all persons who meet and work with her. She is affectionately known to us as “Auntie Boon”. She has devoted the past 14 years to working with HIV patients on the caretaking level and as that of a researcher providing valuable information and feedback to official organizations.
